Community walking group founded in July 2022 that evolved from weekly walks to hosting diverse events for 10,000+ followers. Founded to help connect fitness-oriented women in a free, fun way to meet others in a new city, this inclusive organization has grown into a thriving social community.
MY ROLE
As Brand & Partnerships Manager for this vibrant community movement, I cold-pitched and landed both local and national brand deals while representing the group weekly at walks as an ambassador. The group grew to 10,000+ followers on social media and 100+ active members, creating a powerful network of support.
DETAILS
During my tenure, I drove remarkable growth with a 900% increase in social media following and a 400% increase in monthly brand deals. I built strategic partnerships with local businesses and influencers, contributing to a 30% community growth rate.
I led bi-weekly walks connecting 50-100 participants per event, fostering authentic connections within the community.
Through developing and executing brand collaborations with major athletic companies like Outdoor Voices and Lululemon, I enhanced community engagement with an average of 70 participants at each sponsored walk.
My role involved managing relationships with local partners to create value-driven experiences while maintaining the organization's core mission.
